Bio: Jim Huish grew up in Orem, Utah. At a young age, he learned to sing & play piano from his father, Al Huish, a professional piano player & music teacher. At 12 years old, Jim began studying the drums, and started sitting in with the Al Huish Band as a teenager. In college, he studied voice and guitar at Dixie State College, then finished a bachelor degree in education from Southern Utah University. After teaching music in the public school system for years, Jim decided to move to Tennessee, where he found a house online for $18,600! The house was a bit of a mess, but through the adventure of renovating this uninhabitable shack, Jim discovered the power of real estate investing as a means of financial well-being, and would later invest in more properties, giving many Nashville musicians a place to call home, and a place to collaborate with like-minded musicians.
Performing: Jim Huish has performed for thousands of people in many big cities, including Los Angeles, Tokyo, Denver, Salt Lake City, Cleveland, Atlanta, & Nashville. He has opened for Jay Leno, Sam Hunt, Collin Raye, Restless Heart, Little Texas, The Gatlin Brothers, Trick Pony, Tom Keifer (from Cinderella), & Kip Winger (Winger).
