Bio: Jim Huish grew up in Orem, Utah. At a young age, he learned to sing & play piano from his father, Al Huish, a professional piano player & music teacher. At 12 years old, Jim began studying the drums, and started sitting in with the Al Huish Band as a teenager. In college, he studied voice and guitar at Dixie State College. After teaching music in the public school system, he decided to pack up and move to Nashville in 2010, after buying a house online for $18,600! The house was a bit of a mess, but through the adventure of renovating this uninhabitable shack, Jim discovered the power of real estate investing as a means of financial well-being, and would later invest in more properties, giving many Nashville musicians a place to call home, and a place to collaborate with like-minded musician-roommates. Jim is now an active singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist in Nashville, Tennessee.
